“If you hear someone call, ‘Hey Frank,’ this is not a new student or a campus game. Frank is an 8 year old Houston horse, the personal property of Sophomore Paul Laurent. At one time the horse must have been white but this was some 8 years ago. He is today a rather faded grey with large, very large, and sad eyes.

“His most hated enemy and biggest pest is Blitzkrieg, campus pup, whose greatest source of pleasure is to dash about the horse in huge circles barking at the top of his none-too-lusty voice.

“Frank is indeed a new addition to campus transportation, but what we wonder is whether or not it will cost Laurent more to operate a horse than it costs Fred Glass to run his motor scooter.”
