St. Joseph Hall Dedicated
March 19, 1962
On Monday, March 19, 1962, St. Joseph’s Hall was dedicated as the new faculty building for the Holy Cross brothers and priests.
“Designed by Julian and Wright Architects, the faculty building was over a year in construction and completed at a cost of over one-half million dollars. In addition to being air-conditioned, the building is equipped with a bomb proof fallout shelter. Some of its other features include a chapel, a main lounge and television lounge, a priest’s lounge, a library and a barber shop. The building honors St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus and patron saint of the Brothers of Holy Cross.”
