From its beginnings in 1874 by the Brothers of the Holy Cross until its closure in 1954, the “Catholic Farm” was an integral part of the St. Edward’s campus. This 1940s photograph of the farm’s cattle grazing in the St. Edward’s pasture on the north side of campus was donated by alumnus Eugene Marik. The baseball diamond and track now occupy this general area.
