Electronic resources (including databases, e-journals, and e-books) available on the Scarborough-Phillips Library web site are licensed by St. Edward's University exclusively for the use of St. Edward's students, faculty, staff, and on-site visitors. Remote access is available to St. Edward's faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students.

Each resource's license is unique, but common restrictions include:

• Content may only be used for educational, noncommercial purposes.
• Systematically downloading, reproducing, or distributing material is prohibited.
• Use by individuals who are not affiliated with St. Edward's University is prohibited unless they are physically visiting the library building.
