It's been a number of years since our library has used a card catalog to find items in our collection. Card catalogs were effective, but awkward and time-consuming.
Instead, we now have the online catalog, a huge, searchable database containing a record of every item the library owns. So finding items in our collection is as easy as typing in search terms.
