All computers in the library:

• require login with SEU user name and password
• provide internet access via SEU network, i.e. no proxy login required for subscription database use
• have MS Office 2007 software installed, i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• connect to a printer: the first floor printer is public1, the second floor printer is public2, and the computer lab printer is lib203

Wireless access is available throughout the library. Instructions for using wireless on the SEU campus are available from SEU Computer Help
 

1. Connect to the “stedwards” wireless zone.
2. Open a web browser and go to http://edprint.stedwards.edu/cps
3. Click on the Print button.
4. Enter your St. Edward’s username and password and click on Login.
5. Choose a printer on the first or second floor of the Library (only edu-library2ndfloor and edu-library1stfloor are currently available).
6. Click on Browse to find your document on your computer. Note that you cannot print web pages. You must print documents stored on your computer. If you need to print something from the web, copy and paste the content into a Word document and then print the Word document.
7. Click on Submit.
8. Click on Continue to accept the default paper size and tray.
9. Your job will submit. When the submission is approved click on Submit Job to Printer.
10. If you need to print another document, click on Another Job.
11. When you are finished printing click on Logout.

Scanners are available on two computers on the 1st floor. One of the machines has assistive technology for students with disabilities and members of the SEU community who need this technology have first priority in using this computer. See Library Computer Map
